Canadian Home Builders’ Association
Since 1943, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association (CHBA) has been “the voice
of Canada’s residential construction industry.” Representing one of the largest
industry sectors in Canada, our membership is made up of some 9,000 companies –
including home builders, renovators, land developers, trade contractors, product
and material manufacturers, building product suppliers, lending institutions,
insurance providers, and service professionals.

Construction Association of PEI
The mission of the Construction Association of PEI is to foster, promote and
advance the interests and efficiency of the construction industry in Prince
Edward Island by acting on behalf of and for its members. Purposes and
Objectives of the Construction Association of Prince Edward Island: To represent
the members of the Association in any matters pertaining to the construction
industry, and to enter into such agreements as may appear to be in the best
interests of the Construction Industry. To represent the interests of the
provincial construction industry to all forms of government and to promote
suitable and desirable legislation affecting the industry and to provide liaison
with governments for any contemplated legislation by either municipal,
provincial or federal authorities insofar as the same may affect the
construction industry.

Downtown Charlottetown Inc.
Downtown Charlottetown Inc. (DCI) is a non-profit organization with the mandate
to work with businesses to create and maintain a vibrant downtown through an
established Business Improvement Area (BIA). Working with these businesses, DCI
will focus on projects that will improve living and commerce in Downtown
Charlottetown and rejuvenate the City core into an exciting place to live, work,
and play – the centre of business, government, culture and entertainment.

Prince Edward Island Aquaculture Alliance
The Prince Edward Island Aquaculture Alliance (PEIAA) is a non-profit
organization, established in January 1998, as an umbrella organization
representing the PEI Cultured Mussel Growers Association, the Island Oyster
Growers Group, and the PEI Finfish Association. A proactive unified voice on
behalf of its 150-plus members, the PEI Aquaculture Alliance advocates on behalf
of the industry, enables important research and development and shares relevant
information on current issues and opportunities.

Prince Edward Island BioAlliance
The Prince Edward Island BioAlliance is the private sector-led not-for-profit
organization that is responsible for developing and coordinating the strategy
for the growth of the Prince Edward Island Bioscience Cluster. Since 2005, the
BioAlliance has facilitated the work of businesses, academic and research
institutions, and federal and provincial government agencies in establishing the
bioscience sector as a key pillar in the economic foundation of the province and
Atlantic Canada.

Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association
The Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association (PEIFA) was originally formed
in the early 1950’s to enable Island fishers to discuss the effects of a
proposed trap limit. While holding community meetings across the Island to
discuss the issue, fishers soon realized the need for a representative group to
express their concerns to government on a host of industry issues.They also
recognized the benefit of an organization through which they could communicate
between themselves, their communities and with fisher organizations in other
provinces.

The PEI Real Estate Association (PEIREA) is a Nonprofit Professional Association
that works under the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) to provide services
to its members and to promote the Real Estate Profession across Prince Edward

professional resources, technology and more! The Association staff can also help
